The studio at The People Le Havre was so cozy, it felt like my own little home away from home. I loved having a kitchenette with a fridge, stovetop, and microwave in the apartment. It was so convenient for making quick meals. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels in the room kept me entertained during my downtime. The free Wi-Fi internet access was a lifesaver for staying connected with friends and family.
Personally, I didn't find the heating in the room very effective. But others might still find it comfortable.

The hotel receptionist at the Kyriad next door, a young man was 1st class. The location is very convenient for the train station, the ferry port and also the new shopping complex, The Docks is well worth a visit.
The colour scheme is terrible. The electrical appliances in the two rooms we booked caused a short cicuit I.E. blown trip switch. Being a service engineer if I had carried out an electrical safety test on the kitchenette it would have been condemed. This hotel is in the bargain basement bracket and in my opinion over priced.

Location to ferry terminal. Comfy beds!
Old fashioned and poor decor. Shower you could not stay in for very long because there was a blockage in the drains, so the water nearly came over the top of the shower tray. The kitchenette was poor. Neither rings on the hob came on, but when you attempted to switch them on it blew all the electrics in the room. Luckily my parents were a few rooms up so I went around there, but the same thing happened and they managed to get their electricity back on. Luckily the previous night we decided to eat near Auchan, had we come back to the room hoping to cook something we would not have been able to. You could have also warned about the severe road works in the area in your email as it took a while to find due to many roads being closed.

great location near the railway station, easy access to the city center by tram. Room had all facilities including a fridge which was perfect during the heatwave. Exceeded expectations for a budget stay.
Unclear instructions for check-in at night.

it was very clean and quiet, and quite spacious for this price. There is a McDonalds right infront of the building, which was super nice, when we arrived late in the evening we spent good time there with a child.

The People in Le Havre was a convenient choice for an overnight stay before catching the cross, channel ferry. the kitchen was well, equipped with electric hot plates and a microwave, allowing us to prepare a meal. the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. the location was excellent , within walking distance of Le Havre centre and the beach. Parking was easy to find and free of charge. the efficient staff and 24, hour reception were handy.
It was reasonably priced and provided everything we needed. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Well located not too far from the ferries and the train station. Decent distance from the city centre. Dinning at the sister hotel Kyriat attached.
Service was quite overwhelmed at the dinning room. For reason incomprehensible, the dinning room refused to put the dinner on the hotel tab, pretexting that the Fregate is a different administration than the attached Kyriat. Yet, everything about the Fregate is done out of the Kyriat! The checking in, the reference to a restaurant when asked about local specialty - they obviously trump there dinning room as 'Normandy specialy' yet only one set of dish is such!!! - all the material in the Fregate room is identical to the Kyriat (soap, shampoo, et al.). But when it comes time to charge the meal on the hotel tab, suddenly it's not possible "because this is a different administration!" Not credible and quite frustrating!!!

It saw a lot of negative feedback here at the Booking site, so we hesitate at first. Well, I can say it wasn't that bad after all! No, it's not the most luxury hotel, but you do have a really nice room, with a kitchen, and everything was clean.
It was close to the station so every now and then we heard a train. But hey, that wasn't so bad either, at least not when you keep in mind how cheap your stay is!

Located near the train station and university, making it convenient for travelers. the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. the hotel had a 24-hour reception, ensuring efficient service throughout the day.
Some guests complained about the noise level, possibly due to the proximity to the train tracks.

The room was clean and well-lit, with comfortable beds and a perfect shower. They even provided a towel for free! The kitchen was equipped with dishes, a microwave, and a fridge, making it convenient for preparing meals. The location was very good, with easy access to public transportation and within walking distance to the city center and the beach.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. One of the closets had a bad smell due to the heating system of water, which was warm, humid, and smelly.
